Records that span two pages (partial record on image)

  • The first record in my batch begins on the previous page, should I index it?

  • The last record in my batch ends on the next page, should I index it?

  • How should I index partial records in a batch?

  • My batch is written in journal style. One record starts at the bottom of a page and ends with information on the top of the next page.

  • When the first image of a batch begins with a partial record, start indexing at the first complete record.

  • When the last record on the image is not complete.

    • Be connected to the Internet and be working online.

    • Click View.

    • Click Show Previous/Next Image.

    • Click the Next Image button that appears.

    • Index the record while viewing both images concurrently. (Ignore the "Do not index from this image" warning in this case)
