Examples of Source Citation in Wiki Learning Articles

Seeing an example of a similar source citation can help you create your own.

These citations mostly follow the Chicago Manual of Style. You might choose to enter the same type of citation differently, perhaps using a different style guide.

Books (Published)

Ideal format: Author(s), Title (Place of publication: Publisher, year of publication), volume: page number(s), [book call number; microfilm call number]. Digitized by Repository at URL (accessed date). Comment.

Computer Databases (Published on Compact Disc)

Interviews (Unpublished)

Ideal format: Interviewee, interview by Interviewer, description or type of interview, place of interview, date, page, repository of the interview. Comment.

Manuscripts (Unpublished)
